Michael’s Signs completed work for Hoffman York’s new home in Milwaukee, WI. We custom fabricated a geometric 3D art sculpture out of perforated aluminum sheeting for their reception area and their cafeteria wall.
The project began with basic concepts on paper, which we then used to create our first drafts in 3D.
Using 3D print technology, we produced scaled miniatures of the geometric art to help our fabricators & designers visualize the sculpture as a whole. Once the designs were finalized, the model was broken down into individual faces, then routed & assembled.
From concept to completion, this was a very unique and amazing project, bringing art to fabrication.
